This is the story of Jack Ireland, cabin boy of the Charles Eaton, fourteen years old when it was shipwrecked, and William Doyle, whose father, mother and brother were killed by headhunters. Retold by Walter Lewellyn, a ship's clerk on the Isabella, who was there when the boys were rescued. Ages 8+.
