History
Prestigious Burgundy estate, Maison Francois Martenot benefits of an excellent fame thanks to its strong know-how and its long history. Francois Martenot which is located in the heart of the Burgundy region exists since the 19th century, and was famous under the name of Clos de Vougeot, property of Leonce Bocquet. The most charismatic member of the family served for Napoleon.
Regional Information
Located in northern Burgundy near Auxerre, the Chablis vineyards are alongside a small river aptly named: the Serein (\Serene\).

Vinification Details
Mechanical harvest. Traditional vinification. The grapes are pressed on arrival at the winery using pneumatic presses. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks thermo-regulated at 16C. The wines are aged on fine lees for 9 months in stainless steel.
